How bookings reach you

  • Passengers request fixed-fare £100 journeys between Essex and London through this website.
  • Suitable journeys are offered privately to our verified Essex driver group, with anonymised details.
  • You express interest only in jobs that fit your existing travel plans. There is never any obligation.
  • The passenger pays you directly inside your cab — cash or your own card terminal.

Join the Essex driver network

Your details are used only to review your application and are never published. We do not ask for copies of identification documents at this stage — Green Badge verification happens privately once your application is accepted for review.

Driver referral terms — please read before applying

  1. You accept a suitable referred £100 booking that fits your plans.
  2. You complete the journey.
  3. The passenger pays you the full £100 directly inside your taxi (cash or your card terminal).
  4. You subsequently pay Essex Black Cab a separate £20 referral fee for the completed referred journey.
  5. You retain £80 after the referral fee.

No referral fee is due when a journey is not completed. There is no monthly subscription and no obligation to accept any job. You must hold valid TfL driver and vehicle licensing and appropriate insurance. The full driver referral agreement is provided for review and signature before you receive any work.
